Description

Learn about pollinators and how they help our food grow! We will play games to identify different pollinators, learn which foods need animal pollinators, and discover which habitats are best for the bumblebees, butterflies, and more! Full Day campers will take a walk to visit a nearby apiary and make a Pollinator Power salad.

It’s getting hot out there! Summer days are the best days because of the sun’s rays. Discover how we can use the sun’s energy to power the next century. If the sun cooperates, Full Day campers will do some suntastic solar cooking.

Camp Fresh Roots is coming to East Van!

We're bringing all the fun of Camp Fresh Roots to Van Tech Secondary for two days only. Choose full or half day sessions on either or both days! Monday will be learning about the pollinators that make our food happen, and Tuesday we'll feel the power of the sun.
